Provide wholistic care for patients that extends to the spiritual level by praying with patients and families. Chaplains are available to meet with patients, families and team members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide spiritual support. Help develop a brand new $150 million community hospital and medical office building that will provide services such as Emergency Services, Medical/Surgical, ICU, Womens Services, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Interventional Cardiology and Gastroenterology. The role you'll contribute: Responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to groups of patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position delivers patient-centered care by collaborating with physicians, patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Additionally, this role administers medications and treatments as prescribed, monitors patient responses, and adjusts care plans as needed. In addition, this position supervises and teaches other personnel in the theory and performance of nursing acts, ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting body standards. Responsibilities for this role include maintaining high standards of care, promoting wellness, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the healthcare team. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Associates Degree in Nursing Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas, or in a qualifying compact state.
