Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Brazil, (CERT)

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is a critical TechOps role at Delta. In this role, you will maintain the proper and safe functioning of Delta’s fleet, ensuring customers have an exceptional travel experience.

• Implement and adhere to strict safety guidelines
• Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring yourself and others to ensure all tasks are performed according to safety manual guidelines
• Ensure 100% compliance with US FAA directives, Delta Air Lines Company policies and Safety Standards
• Use hand tools, diagnostic tests, and gauges to identify hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical malfunction
• Read and utilize maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins, and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments
• Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of power plant and aircraft components
• Complete all tasks within the allotted time frame and to Delta Air Lines’ quality standards
• Work as a team with other AMTs, Supervisors, and other departments
• Coordinate and plan daily workload requirements
• Communicate effectively with other maintenance staff to ensure smooth maintenance operations
• Report to Maintenance Supervisors on the progress of aircraft maintenance work
• Perform adequate inspection of parts, components, or assemblies
• Conduct a visual check of the area for completeness of work, obvious defects, safety of components, cleanliness, and removal of equipment, tools, and debris
• Document work performed, including the status of “work in progress” at the end of each shift
• Sign for Return to Service or Airworthiness Release as specified in applicable manuals
• Perform necessary computer functions and provide documentation to ensure maintenance records, parts tracking, and costs are accurately recorded
• Adhere to all Company appearance and conduct standards
• Maintain a clean, organized workplace and care for facilities
• Perform repairs on GSE equipment when necessary
• Be open to performing secondary operational tasks (e.g., housekeeping, stores organization, tooling organization, facilities daily inspections)

• FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) maintenance license
• 2-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
• Must have current authorization to work and live in Brazil at the time of your application
• Command of written/spoken English at a level to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals
• Should possess the basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Physical ability to perform all maintenance duties without limitations
• Flexibility to work different shifts
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability
• Holding a valid local driving license (Category D preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Must hold a valid US visa (e.g., B1/B2) and be prepared to travel to international destinations when required
