About the role

As the Director of Sales, Commercial Analytics, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our data and analytics business to new heights!

Responsibilities

  • Develops and cultivates client relationships within assigned book of accounts
  • Responsible for lead proposal writing, contracting, client presentations, and outlining of pricing options
  • Communicates client needs and expectations throughout the organization
  • Acts as a client advocate to ensure key program deliverables
  • Gathers information, analyzes, and develops strategies concerning dynamics that may affect meeting objectives
  • Meets with internal organizational staff to ensure their understanding of their client's business goals and needs are being met
  • Ensures regulatory compliance with the PhRMA code in interactions with healthcare professionals
  • Expands breadth and depth of contact base within existing Corporate Partners
  • Documents all sales and account interactions to ensure a comprehensive understanding of activities across all business teams
  • Participates in meetings, reports on sales pipeline status, timelines, and project execution and status
  • Communicates with Corporate Partner's key functional areas to develop and present tailored capabilities overviews and present analytic solutions
  • Understands both secondary data and oncology to independently request and review IntrinsiQ data and then develop a compelling storyline in PowerPoint
  • Follows up with clients to communicate the value proposition for the brand
  • Travels to and participates in client meetings and industry conferences as required
  • Performs related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • B.S required and M.B.A. or advanced degree preferred
  • Professional healthcare sales experience in analytics or secondary data within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Direct secondary data and/or quantitative market research service
  • Supportive business education is a plus
  • Minimum of seven (7) or more years related and progressively responsible sales experience within the healthcare/pharma industry
  • Oncology industry and market level experience preferred, with contracts negotiation experience
  • Understanding of the current and ongoing corporate pharmaceutical oncology marketplace
  • Understanding of generally available clinical data sets
  • Understanding of the function areas within biopharmaceutical companies
  • Prior Oncology experience required
  • Working knowledge of successful strategic and consultative marketing techniques
  • Strong business planning, analytical, and conceptual skills
  • Ability to direct activities of others
  • Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships
  • Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
