• Conduct Program Oversight and Coordination
• Lead a stock assessment team
• Oversee the development of harvest models
• Develop and maintain salmon and steelhead forecasting models
• Administer and supervise a team of biologists
• Gather data in rivers
• Treaty and non-treaty fishing season setting
• District Liaison with WDFW's policy, tribal co-managers, federal agencies, and constituency
• Provide technical expertise and policy guidance
• Publish scientific findings
• Representative for Fish Management
• Formal communication of information and ideas

• Bachelor's degree in fisheries, wildlife management, natural resource science, or environmental science
• Five (5) years of professional experience in fish management or fish research
• Master's degree in fisheries, wildlife management, natural resource science, or environmental science
• Four (4) years of professional experience in fish management or fish research
• Ph.D. in fisheries, wildlife management, natural resource science, or environmental science
• Three (3) years of professional experience in fish management or fish research
• Four (4) years as a Fish & Wildlife Biologist 3
