About the role

This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication abilities throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports compliant with educational and legal standards
  • Participate in team meetings and provide consultations regarding speech and language interventions

Requirements

  • Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience providing services in a K-12 school environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly affecting children
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and staff
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
