Transportation Technician 3

WSDOT is seeking a motivated Transportation Technician 3 to join our Structural Materials Testing Section in Tumwater.

• Perform testing of Structural Materials in the Laboratory in accordance with AASHTO, ASTM, and WSDOT test procedures.
• Maintain proficiency and perform testing of Aggregates, Concrete and Steel.
• Transport and manipulate 50 pounds of material or equipment without assistance.
• Stand for long durations
• Maintain, verify and calibrate laboratory testing equipment as defined in the Quality Systems Manual and per the manufacturer’s instructions.
