About the role
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide vital communication support within a self-contained elementary school program in Naperville, Illinois. This contract role starts November 1 and continues through the remainder of the school year.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to facilitate student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to goal setting and planning.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Illinois SLP license is required.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings is highly beneficial.
