• Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
• Primary responsibility is the provision of medication distributive functions and pharmacy operational tasks, which includes but is not limited to assisting the pharmacist with all duties of preparing and dispensing of medications, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
• Accurately responds to medication dispensing requests, prepares medications for pharmacist final review/check, delivers checked medications, and returns unused or expired medications to appropriate pharmacy areas.
• Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders.
• Supports pharmacists and provides distributive pharmacy services to ensure safe and accurate medication services, supporting all those involved in direct patient care.
• Works under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, performing delegated duties, tasks, and functions associated with the provision of pharmacy services within the hospital.
• Additional responsibilities include clinical compliance in sterilization techniques, sample medication oversight and compliance, OSHA requirements, and any other compliance standards required within the clinical realm of the practice.

• High School Grad or Equiv
• 1 Years of experience
• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician in the applicable jurisdiction
• Applicable State Pharmacy Technician Registration (RPT)
• Current certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ICPT), or from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
