About the role
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities in our data centers.
- Receive parts, verify inventory, and own chain-of-custody processes for Data Center Technicians and Engineers.
- Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different locations.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials and products.
- Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.
Requirements
- 1+ years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administration experience
- Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent
- 1+ years of transportation and supply chain experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- 1+ years of material forecasting experience
