About the role
Soliant is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, contract leadership position with a school district in Auburn, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and support to a team of school-based Occupational Therapists.
- Assist with departmental planning, caseload management, and program development.
- Serve as a primary clinical resource for complex student cases and evidence-based practices.
- Conduct evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and provide direct/indirect OT services to students.
- Foster a collaborative environment with the special education department, teachers, and families to ensure positive student outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active Washington state Occupational Therapy license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification with an OT endorsement.
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
- Significant experience in a school or pediatric setting is required.
- Previous experience in a lead, supervisory, or mentorship role is strongly preferred.
