Stepdown Registered Nurse | Nashua, New Hampshire

Monitor and care for patients requiring telemetry and step-down level attention. Manage cardiac drips such as dobutamine, dopamine, and Levo in applicable cases. Handle equipment including IV pumps, telemetry monitors, chest tubes, bladder scanners, and pacing devices. Perform or assist with procedures such as pericardiocentesis with drain management, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertion. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care. Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems.

• Current RN licensure with specialized experience in progressive care or telemetry units
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and comfort with chest tube care is mandatory
• Preferred experience includes administration of cardiac drips and managing external pacemakers
• Certifications required: ACLS and BLS
