Risk Control Trainee

This is an entry-level position intended to develop skills for providing underwriting with account knowledge required to effectively understand and evaluate the applicant or customers’ business.

• Complete Risk Assessments for lower complexity accounts
• Assist in preparing, conducting, and completing risk assessment evaluations
• Identify uncontrolled hazards and make recommendations
• Consult with clients on ways to control hazards
• Develop an understanding of loss trends and apply risk control products

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or internship experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to attain certification to meet state-specific requirements
