Diagnostic Medical Vascular Sonographer

The Diagnostic Medical and Vascular Sonographer, under general supervision performs general Sonography and Vascular Sonography procedures in accordance with department protocols. Assists physicians with interventional procedures. Selects practical applications and technical factors. Is knowledgeable in and carries out all applicable processes of the department. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures. Participates in the AdventHealth performance improvement program. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• BCLS - Basic Life Support
• (AB) ARDMS or ARRT - Abdomen
• (OBGYN) ARDMS or ARRT - Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
• RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist
• RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists RT (VS)
