Special Education Teacher

A middle school requires a Special Education Co-teacher to support students in an inclusive classroom setting from November through February. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with general education teachers to deliver tailored instruction that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.

• Co-teach and adapt curriculum to accommodate special education students
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with staff and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies
• Employ behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with middle school-aged students
• Ability to co-teach effectively in an inclusive setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of special education laws and best practices
