Stepdown Unit Nurse (RN)

Provide expert nursing care to patients in a stepdown PCU setting during night shifts (1845-0715) Monitor and assess patients requiring high acuity interventions Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans Adhere to the facility’s policies and maintain a nicotine-free workplace environment Flexibility to work every other weekend and major holidays with schedule support from management

• Provide expert nursing care to patients in a stepdown PCU setting during night shifts (1845-0715)
• Monitor and assess patients requiring high acuity interventions
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans
• Adhere to the facility’s policies and maintain a nicotine-free workplace environment
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and major holidays with schedule support from management

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit nursing experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS preferred
• Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, and BiPAP/Airvo equipment
• Ability to float to lesser acuity units as needed
• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Nicotine-free requirement for the facility
