About the role

Seeking a Psychiatric ARNP Lead to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals with complex psychiatric needs in a forensic setting. Responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary teams, managing evaluations, prescribing medications, coordinating care, and supporting competency restoration. Requires advanced clinical skills and leadership abilities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment teams
  • Deliver and monitor psychiatric care including evaluations and medication management
  • Conduct clinical rounds and optimize treatment plans
  • Coordinate care across correctional, behavioral health, and community systems
  • Ensure policy compliance and contribute to system improvement
  • Audit and analyze clinical practices and report on outcomes
  • Provide education and clinical consultation to staff

Requirements

  • Valid Washington State license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
  • Eight years of ARNP experience with MSN or six years with DNP
  • Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and mental illness principles
  • Ability to work with difficult patients and collaborate in teams
