About the role
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
- Contribute to a positive patient experience through direct interaction
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or Higher: You must have an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited program
- Completion of an Accredited Program: The program must be accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Licensure and Certifications: MRAD:KY; RTR, or RTBD, or RTCT, or RTCV, or RTM, or RTMR, or RTN, or RTQM, or RTT, or RTVI, or RTVS
- Basic understanding of cardiovascular physiology and anatomy
