About the role
This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position offers an exciting opportunity to provide services to K-3rd and Junior High students within a K-12 school setting in Round Lake, IL.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students across specified grade levels
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Serve students with communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices to support their academic success
Requirements
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with eligibility for or possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not mandatory for consideration
- Prior experience working within school settings, especially with children from K through junior high grades
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
