Sr Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Southwest Airlines, you’ll bring advanced technical expertise to design, develop, test, document, and implement application systems that are functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well-integrated.

• Drive the technical direction and feature roadmap of large-scale cloud systems
• Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions

• Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, concepts, and technologies
• Advanced knowledge of at least one required programming language
