About the role

The Sr. Software Engineer – CMS Developer role is to provide highly specialized skills and knowledge that will enable the successful design, code and delivery of complex solutions for Digital & Technology. Works closely with business partners and to solution content and managing websites and mobile applications. Leads a team and provides training to junior team members to increase their expertise toward driving design and coding solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Code contributor front end with focus on RWS Tridion development, HTML, CSS, .NET, and Angular across multiple applications and tools.
  • Develop reusable content management components keeping future growth in mind.
  • Build public sites from scratch: perform Blueprinting, content modeling, create schemas, templates, and components.
  • Set up Workflows, configuration in publications for WorldServer (translation tool) create new publications and new user groups, defines Content Types and Page Types for Experience Manager.
  • Provide clear direction on accessibility / ADA Compliance; AA, W3, etc., needs to be included in CMS flow.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Programming and Analysis, Industrial Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5+ years equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience working on large CMS systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in RWS Tridion development.
  • Experience in architecture and content modeling schema.
  • Familiarity with O data model Workflow and event system in Tridion.
