Assistant Nurse Manager Observation Unit Full Time Nights

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered professional nurse leader. The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible to assist in the operational leadership of a specified nursing unit. The Assistant Nurse Manager is able to demonstrate critical thinking skills, creativity, and has the knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines.

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, creativity, and knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines.
• Coach, motivate, mentor, and lead a professional and technical team in the delivery of services for our patient population.
• Directly monitor that quality of care is delivered to our patients and demonstrate effective stewardship of resources.
• Actively participate in outstanding customer service, including service to patients, families, physicians, and other contacts, and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
• Active Kansas RN license required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
