Special Education Teacher

A school in Tyler, TX is seeking a professional skilled in early childhood special education to work with children aged 2-5 years in a resource-inclusion classroom setting. This contract position spans the full school year with a structured schedule from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday.

• Provide specialized instruction to young learners in a resource setting
• Develop and implement IEPs based on each student's assessment and needs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related services staff to support student development
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans accordingly
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations

• Valid Texas State License with Special Education EC-12 Endorsement required
• Proven experience working with early childhood special education students (ages 2-5)
• Ability to create and implement IEPs effectively
• Strong collaboration skills with related services staff
• Comfortable managing a resource-inclusion classroom environment
