Team Leader - Labor & Industries Division, Olympia

The Team Leader - Labor & Industries Division, Olympia position is located in the Olympia section of the LNI Division and directly supervises 3-5 attorneys who handle a high-paced litigation caseload, including motions, discovery, and proceedings before the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals or Office of Administrative Hearings, Superior Courts, and the Washington Courts of Appeal.

• Administrative tasks
• Leading and mentoring a group of outstanding team members
• Coaching and mentoring
• Providing input into performance evaluations
• Handling caseload in Industrial Insurance and/or other programs
• Assigning cases and balancing workloads
• Reviewing and approving settlements
• Reviewing proposed decisions
• Backing up the Section Chief as needed

• Graduated from a law school accredited by the ABA or completed the WSBA's Rule 6 Law Clerk Program
• Licensed to practice law in Washington State
