Lead Phlebotomist Nights

The Lead Phlebotomist assists the Processing Area Supervisor in coordinating the daily activities of the Phlebotomy Team and Specimen Processing area and is the primary provider of orientation and training for newly hired, as well as, providing updated in-service to the Phlebotomists and Laboratory Assistants.

• Assists the Processing Area Supervisor in coordinating the daily activities of the Phlebotomy Team and Specimen Processing area
• Provides orientation and training for newly hired Phlebotomists and Laboratory Assistants
• Acts as the primary provider of in-service to the Phlebotomists and Laboratory Assistants

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• 2 hospital-based phlebotomy based in a laboratory setting
• Phlebotomy (venipuncture and capillary)
• Clinical Laboratory experience including Phlebotomy
• Phlebotomy Technician or Certified Laboratory Assistant
• BLS - Basic Life Support Required
