About the role
Adaptive PE Teacher in Saint Paul, MN - Soliant
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized physical education programs
- Collaborate with special education teams to create inclusive and effective educational plans
- Assess student progress and adapt activities to ensure engagement and development
- Maintain detailed records of student achievements and communicate regularly with families and staff
- Support the physical and motor development of students across all grade levels (K-12)
Requirements
- Certification as a Teacher of the Physically Impaired (TPI) or Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Teacher in Minnesota
- Experience managing a K-12 caseload within a school setting
- Strong knowledge of adaptive physical education techniques and student-centered instructional strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Passion for fostering an inclusive physical education environment
