Surgical First Assist Cert

As a Surgical First Assistant, you will provide critical patient care by directly assisting the surgeon during operative procedures, working under their immediate direction.

• Directly assist the surgeon during operative procedures
• Ensure a safe surgical experience through technical support for exposure, hemostasis, and wound closure
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team
• Perform duties under the guidance of the operating surgeon, circulating nurse, and reporting to your designated Team Leader

• Other Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program, upon hire
• One year of surgical technician experience
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• Certified Surgical First Assistant NASC, upon hire or
• Certified Surgical First Assistant, upon hire or
• Certified First Assistant - Certified Surgical Technologists, upon hire
