About the role

Build and operationalize complex data solutions, design data solutions, analyze sources to determine value and recommend data to include in analytical processes, collaborate within and across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products/analytic environment, perform data and system analysis, assessment and resolution for defects and incidents of moderate complexity and correct as appropriate, test data movement, transformation code, and data components

  • Perform data and system analysis, assessment and resolution for defects and incidents of moderate complexity and correct as appropriate
  • Test data movement, transformation code, and data components

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of related work experience
  • Foundational knowledge of data engineering concepts, tools, and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, and Cloud Platforms)
  • Strong understanding of AWS Cloud Analytical Services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, and CloudWatch
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform
  • Eagerness to learn and apply modern data engineering practices to build scalable and reliable data solutions
  • Strong interest in working closely with the Data Lake Admin Team to support security, access control, and governance of data platforms
  • Solid problem-solving skills with a willingness to explore and iterate on solutions with guidance
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to work collaboratively within a team and take feedback constructively
  • A growth mindset and openness to learning from more experienced engineers in an agile, supportive team environment
