About the role

The Insurance Package Configuration Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting our revenue cycle operations by maintaining and configuring insurance packages in the athenaOne insurance library.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to accurately create, update, and manage insurance package data.
  • Complete assigned tasks within expected timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain expert subject matter knowledge of work area processes to be a resource for internal stakeholders and customers
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions related to workflow challenges or operational improvements.
  • Document and update workflow instructions as needed to support team knowledge and efficiency.
  • Review and provide issue resolution for customers and stakeholders cases
  • Demonstrate agility in dynamically readjusting priorities and reallocating resources in response to unexpected challenges and volume, ensuring the team remains aligned with evolving goals and deadlines.
  • Monitor task queues and flag any inconsistencies or issues to the team and relevant stakeholders
  • Demonstrate flexibility & adaptability and implement appropriate solutions to new problems
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to gain perspective on opportunities for improvement, assist with issue resolution to ensure accurate execution of tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills; able to recognize and report irregularities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a data-driven, process-oriented environment.
  • Academic experience related to operations, data entry, healthcare, or administrative work.
  • Familiarity with healthcare insurance terms or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
