Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Nashua, NH

This position is a contract opportunity with 12-hour shifts preferred, offering a chance to contribute your expertise while experiencing the vibrant healthcare community in Nashua.

• Conduct thorough head-to-toe patient assessments.
• Administer and manage IV medications including drips for Lasix, heparin, metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin.
• Provide advanced wound care, including drain management and vacuum-assisted closure systems.
• Manage care for patients with NGT/G tubes, parenteral nutrition, and central lines (PICC, HD catheters, midlines).
• Attend to urinary devices such as Foley, nephrostomy, and suprapubic catheters, and perform ostomy care.
• Execute postoperative patient care and perform procedures including nasogastric tube care.

• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Strong Med/Surg Telemetry skillset with orthopedic care knowledge.
• Experience with automated BP machines, bladder scanners, remote telemetry, vein finders, and Hoyer lifts is advantageous.
• Comfortable with electronic charting using Altera/Allscripts Sunrise.
