About the role
The mission of Mental Health Services is to provide quality medically necessary mental health care that promotes wellness to incarcerated patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient services through psychiatric treatment
- Review and process records requests of patient medical, dental, and mental health care information
- Oversight and patient care for patients assigned at WCC and MCC
- Manage caseload assigned by HSM1 or designee
- Ensure delivery of quality psychiatric services for all patients
Requirements
- Initial and continuous unblemished/unrestricted licensure in the State of Washington
- Maintain current CPR certification
- Possess or meet eligible criteria for Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Maintain CME credits sufficient to maintain license
- At least one (1) year experience working as a Psychiatrist
