Marine Underwriter – Marine Cargo, Marine Liability and Contrators Equipment

The Marine Underwriter will contribute to the growth of the business by underwriting Marine products under general direction, issuing quotes and policies while ensuring standards and compliance guidelines are met.

• Evaluating, prioritizing and selecting submissions to be underwritten.
• Underwrite selected, risks, adhering to underwriting guidelines and discipline.
• Comply with stablished service level agreements.

• Must be detail-oriented, possess analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and be able to make decisions based on level of authority.
• Effective in dynamic environment, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, working at pace and prioritizing multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), collaboration, building trust with wide range of colleagues and clients
