About the role
The APRN/PA supports the clinical operation of the Transplant Institute with primary focus on clinical services in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Delivery of patient care is conducted in collaboration with the transplant surgeons and physicians including, but not limited to, physical exams, diagnosis and treatment, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling on preventative health, writing prescriptions and assisting in surgery. In addition, the APRN/PA is responsible for coordinating and managing the patient care of high-risk patient populations throughout the continuum to optimize the patient's clinical, functional and psychosocial status, to provide the communication link for coordination of care among the multidisciplinary healthcare team involved with this patient type, and to orchestrate a performance improvement program that focuses on improving patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's of Nursing or Master's of Nursing Required
- 3 Work Experience Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Required
- American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) National Nurse Practitioner certification by Required
- Physician Assistant (PA) Required
