Systems Development Engineer II, ADC Analytics

Amazon Web Service is building some of the largest distributed systems in the world, and offering them to our peculiar Dedicated Cloud customers. Amazon's database offerings like Athena, OpenSearch, Elastic Map Reduce, Glue, QuickSight, LakeFormation, and Redshift are massively scaled services that make up a critical piece of the internet today.

• Deep experience working with Linux, preferably in a large scale, distributed environment
• Understanding networking technology and how servers and networks inter-relate
• Regularly taking part in deep-dive troubleshooting and conducting technical post-mortem discussions
• Building and deploying solutions across thousands of devices
• Improving and streamlining processes to allow for work on a massive scale

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• Currently hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
