Part-Time Virtual School Sign Language Interpreter in New Hampshire in Manchester, NH - Soliant

• Provide real-time ASL interpretation via video conferencing platforms for classroom instruction, school events, meetings, and related services
• Interpret between spoken English and ASL, ensuring accurate and appropriate communication in academic settings
• Support student understanding of classroom instruction, peer interaction, and teacher communication
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and school staff to ensure accessibility of instruction and materials
• Adhere to all ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards (RID/NAD Code of Professional Conduct)
• Maintain accurate records of interpreting sessions, attendance, and student progress if required
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed and contribute to accessibility planning

• Fluency in American Sign Language and spoken/written English
• RID certification (NIC, CI/CT) or EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Knowledge of Deaf culture and educational interpreting best practices
• Experience working with school-aged children
