Staff Software Engineer, Personal Health Agent

Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.

• Develop and communicate the long-term technical goal and roadmap for the unified Personal Health Agent (PHA) architecture for Fitness and Sleep coach in partnership with other leads.
• Act as the key technical authority for the agentic platform that delivers PHA.
• Build and grow the technical expertise in the broader engineering organization to deliver agentic capabilities.
• Be a role model for engineering excellence in all dimensions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, large-scale system architecture, and working with ML infrastructure.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products.
• Experience in shipping large-scale, production AI/ML systems (e.g., recommendation systems, NLP, large models).
