L&I Elevator Inspector 2
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of all types of conveyances
- Write reports and issue code violation corrections
- Conduct follow-up inspections and abate corrections
- Perform licensing and permitting compliance activities
Requirements
- Four years of experience as an elevator mechanic assistant or elevator mechanic
- Four years' experience as an elevator inspector for an authority having jurisdiction (AHJ)
- Two years' experience of the above and successful completion of the two-year Department of Labor and Industries Elevator Inspector training program
