As a part of the AdventHealth network patients will have greater access to a wide range of innovative therapies, new research, leading-edge technology and an extensive team of medical specialists. Lake Wales is located in Central Florida in between Orlando and Tampa and is home to the Historic Bok Tower Gardens and Bird Sanctuary The role you'll contribute: Assures compliance with codes and standards for the department and hospital with regards to AHCA, TJC, NFPA, ADA, OSHA (life safety and emergency preparedness). Coordinates all aspects of Environment of Care Committee. Manages and coordinates all aspects of Safety Tours, Fire Drills, Disaster drills and other Emergency Drills. Hospital liaison and representative with all City, County, State and Federal Agencies. Develops, coordinates and presents all safety related orientation, education and training to staff. Ensures all required tests, inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on safety-related equipment and systems are performed on time and deficiencies are risk assessed and corrected. Establishes and maintains all safety and regulatory-related documentation. Coordinates activities and recommendations from outside consultants, vendors, surveyors, and inspectors related to safety and code compliance. Manages all aspects of the Environment of Care Committee, including safety tours, fire drills, disaster drills, and other emergency drills. Responsibilities
