About the role
The expected schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. You will provide office support for daily operations and will serve as an in-office receptionist for the agency.
Responsibilities
- Provide office support for daily operations
- Serve as an in-office receptionist for the agency
- Assist walk-in customers, answer calls and return voicemails
- Open and date-stamp incoming mail including sorting and routing mail to the appropriate party
- Prepare outgoing mail
- Provide basic office assistance that involves creating case file inserts, photocopying records, filing, and entering and/or retrieving information from the agency’s database system
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of modern office practices, methods, and procedures
- Possess basic arithmetic
- Basic computer experience, including data entry
- Able to understand and follow basic instructions accurately
- Able to rough sort alphabetize
- Able to learn to operate a copier and fax machine
- Able to address and interact with clients, staff, and the public in a respectable manner
- Able to work cooperatively with others
- Able to identify and report office equipment malfunctions
- Able to identify and seek guidance as needed
- Able to focus on and complete an assigned task
