Staff Pharmacist

A skilled pharmacist is needed for a contract position in Lincoln, CA, offering the opportunity to apply expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role centers on comprehensive pharmacy services with a focus on hospital pharmacy operations, ensuring patient safety and medication efficacy through meticulous order verification and collaboration with medical teams.

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Participate in pharmacokinetics monitoring and adjustments
• Utilize pharmacy IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell to manage workflows

• Valid pharmacist license in California
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong understanding of pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy
