AdventHealth Redmond offers a full array of inpatient and outpatient programs, many of which are unique to the northwest Georgia region. As an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, Redmond provides a full-service cardiology product line and is nationally recognized as a top cardiac center. In addition to the Gold Seal of Approval, Redmond has also earned eight disease specific certifications from the Joint Commission for outstanding care in the areas of cardiology, stroke, orthopedic surgery, spinal surgery, and vascular surgery. Other areas of excellence include emergency care, oncology, and inpatient rehabilitation.

Schedule: Full Time Shift : Day Location: 100 JOHN MADDOX DR NW, Rome, 30165 The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Redmond The role you'll contribute: With oversight and direction from the Program Director, Director of Graduate Medical Education/DIO and the Internal Medicine Program Coordinator, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the operational and financial management of the residency-training program and support for the Program Director and Residents. The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of ACGME or other national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. The Program Coordinator will continually assess and direct a wide range of programmatic issues including long range planning, recruiting trainees, developing projects, analyzing administrative workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external program relations.

The value you'll bring to the team: Advises learners on the residency application process. Develops and distributes the Intern lecture schedule. Coordinates the learner educational experience and ensures appropriate assignment of rotations and electives. Coordinates student evaluations and identifies and recruits potential students.
