This Underwriter II role will be an ideal next step in your career if you already have some relevant experience in insurance – or this could be your entry into underwriting if you have transferable skills.

• Assess the desirability of risk through regular contact with brokers
• Close co-ordination with AIG subject matter experts
• Robust reviews of claims history and general company information

• Some underwriting experience
• Ability to analyze financial statements
• Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills
