About the role

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in an elementary school setting in Kyle, TX. This contract position for the current school year (CSY) offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing essential speech and language services to young learners.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized and group speech therapy services to elementary school students
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Participate in meetings, such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, as necessary

Requirements

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in children
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff
