About the role
A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of our students.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Monitor and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings
- Offer professional development and support to teachers and staff
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- VA state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in a school setting
