About the role
The Lake Burien Transitional Care Facility open in July of 2024 with support from the Department of Social and Health Services, the Department of Children, Youth and Families, Health Care Authority, MultiCare, and Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assess and provide treatment to patients in groups or 1:1s as needed in a recovery center or ward
- Provide evaluations and therapy in the areas and activities of daily living within designated caseload
- Assess, design, fabricate or order adaptive equipment/mechanical supports such as splints and hearing aids
Requirements
- State of Washington Occupational Therapist license or a valid probational certificate issued by the State of Washington to practice occupational therapy
- Successful completion of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination
- Three years of professional Occupational Therapy experience
