School Occupational Therapist

A full-time occupational therapy professional is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Joliet, IL. This contract role spans the full school year, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to student development and success through tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Conducting assessments to gather and evaluate caseload details
• Developing and implementing individualized OT plans to support students’ academic and functional performance
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes
• Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed throughout the school year
• Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with district and regulatory guidelines

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based services
• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and educational accommodations for K-12 students
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a caseload over the course of the school year
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, families, and school staff
• Familiarity with current OT practices and regulations within school settings
