CT Exams Start patient IVs Perform equipment quality checks Room maintenance after procedures Inform patient of diagnostic procedure being performed

• Perform technical diagnostic CT imaging procedures
• Provide patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care
• Assist patients with basic patient care needs
• Review and verify physician’s orders
• Perform CT exams
• Communicate and involve patients in diagnostic tests
• Start Patient IVs

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R)(CT)
• Certified by the state of Texas - MRT
• CPR/BLS certification
• Associate’s degree preferred
• One (1) year of experience as a radiographer or one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting preferred
