About the role
Soliant Education is now hiring five (5) qualified and passionate Special Education Teachers for full-time positions in the Shrewsbury, PA area. These contract positions are available for immediate start and will continue through the end of the 2025-26 school year.
Open Positions: K-8 Emotional Support Teacher K-8 Learning Support Teacher 9th-12th Grade Autistic Support Teacher High School Special Education Math Teacher (Must be dual certified in Special Education 9-12 and Mathematics 9-12)
Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Provide academic, emotional, and behavioral support to students Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment
Requirements: Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education (relevant grade levels, must have active Instructional I or Instructional II to be considered, no emergency certifications are accepted). If eligible for PA state license but not received yet, you are still welcome to apply! For HS Math position: Must hold dual certification in Special Education 9-12 and Mathematics 9-12 Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred) Experience with emotional support, learning support, or autistic support preferred Ability to start immediately and commit through the end of the school year
