About the role
Delivers direct patient care as directed by the RN. Provides skilled patient care according to established nursing standards to meet social, psychological, developmental, and spiritual needs of the patient as assigned by the accountable RN.
Responsibilities
- Delivers direct patient care as directed by the RN
- Provides skilled patient care according to established nursing standards
- Documents and records pertinent information related to patient demographics, graphic data, and nursing interventions performed
- Provides indirect patient care
- Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge process
- Performs housekeeping Functions as delegated, acts as a runner, transporter
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Practical/Vocational Nurse program required
- Current/valid LVN license from the state licensing board or valid Compact LVN license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) required
- 0 – 1 year clinic experience preferred
