About the role
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support a diverse K-12 student population, including those with autism, emotional disturbance, and Multiple Disabilities (MDS).
Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments and delivering therapy services tailored to students with a range of communication needs across K-12.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Managing a caseload that is nearing capacity, demonstrating effective time management and service delivery.
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience providing Speech-Language Pathology services in school settings.
- Expertise in working with students with autism spectrum disorder, emotional disturbances, and multiple disabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students and school staff.
