About the role
Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of policies and strategies that ensure Google's products have leading policies that ensure age-appropriate experiences for kids and teens.
- Identify emergent risks and policy gaps, and providing subject-matter expertise to partner teams and help implement policies that protect people from harmful content and protect Google's brand.
- Manage policy escalations and suggest policy and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust and Safety, or technology environment.
- Experience implementing technical policies related to child and adolescent content safety.
